Balsa & Sola

The softest stuff we have to offer for bird toys! Balsa is a super soft wood that shreds instead of splintering. Sola is made from the tapioca plant, and is almost spongy while maintaining it's shape until your bird demolishes it. Yucca has a hard outer shell, but the inside is flakey, we we offer it with the soft parts exposed!

All are fantastic natural materials that are great for small birds and softer chewing larger birds! A favorite for many species, including quakers, conures, parakeets, budgies, and more. Even my Jardine's loves these woods! Soft woods can be a great introduction for birds that are scared of toys, or those learning to play.
