This handmade balsa forager is embedded with cork stoppers, 6mm wood beads, and your choice of customizable fillers - perfect for birds who love to forage, chew, and destroy.
Made from bird-safe, natural materials with no harmful dyes or coatings.
Customize your Rex:
- Color: Choose from our full range of dye colors
- Fillers: 8mm wood beads, 3/8" wood balls, millet (added fresh at shipping), or empty holes to fill yourself
- Mounting: Attaches to the side of the cage with paper rope or stainless steel hardware (bolt, washers, and wingnut included)
A note on beak safety: Birds with long thin beaks may be able to insert their beak into the 7/64" hole on 8mm beads. For these birds we recommend the 3/8" wood balls, which have no hole and are also a more satisfying chew.

I've purchased many of these balsa dinosaurs, and my Green Cheek Conure loves making them extinct! I get them without the beads, just cork, and the chewing keeps him occupied. He seems really proud of his work!
Every single Dino toy I get for my flock quickly goes extinct! They have so much fun attacking their ancestors and shredding them down to nothing! Sure to be a hit with your flock and an all around fun and creative toy to decorate their cage with. My favorite thing to do is to put a one of the Dinos next to a Stomp perch and let the delightful Dino overload of cuteness happen!
