My crimson-bellied conure didn't dive in to shredding this toy right away, which isn't unusual for her with new stuff. But once she started nibbling, it quickly evolved into a full chewing frenzy. She tends not to work on it when I'm watching. I just find small pieces and larger chunks on the cage bottom. It took her a few months to demolish the first one. Now she can do it in a week. I love that it keeps her from being bored while in her cage.

Absolutely a great way to get started with foraging! place nuts partially in the channels and let your birds work on removing them!
